I'll be posting those up shortly on here as well. I got to admit, I'm really disappointed in myself with these. Alot of them turned out (in my opinion) pretty crappy! The lighting in the Convention Centre doesn't really help matters but it was moreso that I was lazy and didn't put in an effort to adjust my camera settings or bother using my flash more. (I DISPISE using a flash if I don't have to, I won't use it!) So most of my pictures ended up being alot blurrier and some just didn't come out at all! Ugh! Serves me right though for being lazy!

Oh well, if the rumours are true and Fan Expo is moved to the North building, then that should solve most of the lighting issues as the North side has alot more natural light and overall, it's alot brighter and more open than the dungeon that is the South building!

In any case, I'll be posting most of my pictures on here shortly. Most of them are already up on my Facebook page and in the Facebook Fan Expo groups.

Tomorrow we are heading to Mississauga for the Cosplay picnic. Should be fun. Kariya Park is a really nice place. I've taken some nature shots there before! Hopefully the weather is nice and I'll be able to get some great outdoor shots of some of the cosplays there. This will partially make up for the craptacular job I did at Fan Expo! Haha!

Being a nature and outdoor photographer, and since I'm new to the cosplay world, it's not as simple as asking a complete stranger if they would let me take some individual shots of them. I haven't had enough experience with models and people to actually figure out what works best yet. (ie- poses, composition, etc...) but I'm slowly learning and getting a better idea of what makes a good shot for people.
