Hmmm, I was uploading some pictures for someone I know yesterday and I just realized, I have yet to post alot of my summer photography. I haven't even posted any of my Fan Expo pictures (not that they turned out that great to begin with) from September yet!!! It's crazy how fast time flies!

I guess I'll have to make the time in the next while to do all that. But with American Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, it's going to be that much harder!

In more personal news, we'll be heading to Montreal this year for Christmas. Should be fun. I haven't been there in a LONG time and this will be Miles' first Christmas there. He'll get to finally play with all his younger, and older cousins! There will also be our annual cousin's curling tournament so it should be fun as the winner will have bragging rights for the year! (And if you know anything about my family, we're very competitive with each other! But in a fun way!) Aside from that, we're probably going to DTAC to close out the year. I think Kel wanted to bring Miles as well (he'll be Anbu Gaara I think.)



*****MOVIE RANT TIME!***** (IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE NEW TWILIGHT MOVIE, NEW MOON AND YOU ARE GOING TO, THEN DO NOT READ ANYTHING BELOW THIS, AS THEIR MAY BE SOME SPOILER MOMENTS IN THIS!)




Also saw New Moon last night...Man, I can't even begin to start with what's messed up about that movie! I'm a pretty open person when it comes to movies and maybe because most of the movies I seen recently are fairly good ones, my standards may have been set a bit too high for this one? (Especially after seeing some of the trailers for this movie?)

Now, I've seen my fair share of bad and good movies before and though I can't really say this was a "bad" movie by bad movie standards, I will say that New Moon was a piece of crap in my opinion! The acting (God knows, I adore Ashley Greene as Alice.) but damn! Even that was really tacky! The silly typical romantic cheezy lines I would expect to hear in a B-Movie were being thrown around like money in this! And don't get me started with that "we're running thru the field in our chinos" scene. I told Kelly, I swear I was watching a Gap commerical! All that way missing was Feist singing that dumbass song "1-2-3-4" (Sorry folks, I hate Feist and think they suck major balls!) in the background as they were running! The only redeeming thing about the movie was the Jacob/Wolf storyline (which had some pretty cool CGI stuff, I must say.)

And of course, nothing would be complete without a Bella rant as well. Now I didn't think she was as bad in this movie, but damn, I honestly swear, what kind of moron would go out with a girl like her in real life?!?! Her character really annoys me because she (Bella) does such a disservice to all girls/women in real life! This is the type of girl ALL guys fear meeting or hooking up with! She is the type of girl that would be made fun of for being such a lovestruck moron! There is such a thing as an unhealthy love/infatuation relationship and her character wears it proudly in this movie. I should rip on Jacob as well for being such a tool for liking someone like Bella but I won't because I understand the need for these types of love conflicts in movies/books so I won't. And lastly, what's with the ending??? Like seriously..DUH! Was that not the stupidest line to close out the movie?!?!?! I know the book has that event in it, but I seriously wish they didn't end the movie with that dumbass question! It was so anti-climatic!! He could have told Bella he wanted to piss on her face and have her say "I love it" and hell, WE ALL KNOW she would have said "Yes Edward! I'll do anything for you!" So to end the movie the way they did, was just plain silly if you ask me.
